THE POET

Will McMiller

In this village so dear, I’m the miller, it’s clear

Crafting bread and grain, through sunshine and rain

For this village so small, I serve one and all

With water in motion, grinding grains with devotion

Putting rhymes in my quotes, while I’m grinding oats

And rye, wheat and barley, make a delicious finale

With the sun in the sky, and clouds floating high

My mill keeps on turning as I work for my earning

From morning till night, in the soft fading light

I hear the wheels creaking, as if they were speaking

A story be told, turning grains into gold

Transformed from a seed, what a blessing indeed

THE CHESHIRE CAT

Bob

A lot of animals in the world have innate magical abilities. One example is Bob, the village cat, who can turn invisible. It is known for slowly dissapearing from one end to the other, leaving only two blue eyes staring eerily at you. If you are lucky.

Geography and Surroundings

North

After a day of travel through dense forest you would reach the mountains of Stormguard Range. Not far from here is the spring of Berklowan, our river.

East

If you travel east for about a week you would reach Wilting Spine, a small town. The last 6 months there has been no traffic from this direction.

South

If you follow Berklowan south through light forest it would take you about 5 days to the village Lennel, then 3 more days to the capital Eiwesh Eshie.

West

Lomtenet Mol has spread out a bit to the west and there are sparse farms for almost a day's worth of travel. After that you come to a mountain ridge called The Needles, a part of Stormguard Range. There is a path you could follow, called Needle’s Point, to the village Sanzas on the other side of the mountains. It is a risky route that takes a bit over a week to travel. There hasn’t been any traffic from there in the last year. Some people that have travelled from this direction haven't come back yet. Noone on this side is willing to attempt the journey again until someone from the other side proves that it’s safe.
