Adaki, Arra, Gerlinde, Rose, Sonya and Hubert approach the town. They meet Darryn and discover his relation to Taryn and Barin from the Mindstone mine. They decide to give him the surplus Mindstone shard to start the process of de-Veiling him.

After some stone collection they all head in to town, promising the city guards that they will visit the Manor on their own later. While visiting Darryn's tinkering shop Highland Thistle they tell him that his brothers are dead and/or imprisoned and leave him traumatized to think things over.

They go to investigate a stolen food problem for Thormar the butcher and find Peeves the wererat cook and his pet rat in the cellars. They make him promise to behave like a responsible citizen and in turn promise back to help him with his lycanthropy curse in a couple of levels.

In total they visit the Cart and Canter, the Butcher shop, Hearthstone Haven, Arcane Artifacts, Threads of Elegance, Spineful Smithy, Spineful Armory, Tactics Trading shop and Vintage Attire, doing quite a bit of shopping.
